Oracle Buys Sun

Yes, just exactly what the title is saying, Oracle now owns Sun. With the acquisition not only Oracle is in the hardware market, they now also owns MySQL and Java as well.

And USD 7.6 billion is what it took for Oracle to own Sun's ass.

Good news you ask me? Well hell yah! IBM is one stingy bastard whose not willing to pay for something as superior as MySQL and Java so screw you, pussycat.

Talk about cloud computing, now Oracle is going to be a cloud force to be reckoned with! *grin*

Just like what the press release said, "The Board of Directors of Sun Microsystems has unanimously approved the transaction." Sweet, Larry Ellison is a genius! He probably had planned this all along.

It's all about choice, choice and choice, I'm really looking forward to see what is coming out of this entire acquisition as I believe there will be a lot of sparks flying all over the place moving forward after the deal settles.

IBM is stingy bastard? Haha... there is someone we both know is the real slim shit stingy bastard... muahahahaha...

Now we need to see how Oracle DB + MySQL = ? kinda of crap

I also been thinking whether now install Java will be needing a oracle account? Still remember how badass is Oracle Installer used in Oracle DB installation?

Now the battle falls to Oracle vs IBM for middleware and database war.
